Environmentally Friendly Sugarcane Bowls

Sugarcane bowls are the ideal choice for many popular dishes. They are water-repellent, grease-resistant, and at the same time natural, without any coating. This is made possible by the raw material bagasse, which is obtained from the leftover sugarcane. Normally, the remains of the sugarcane are either used as fertilizer or burned after conventional sugar production. However, for the production of these bowls, the remaining sugarcane mass is ground and processed into a cellulose mass. This is then pressed into the desired shape under high pressure and heat. It is therefore not surprising that the sugarcane bowls are compostable according to DIN 13432. Thus, you can enjoy your food while having a clear conscience.

The sugarcane bowls are perfect for a variety of applications. They can easily hold hot, greasy dishes as well as liquid and cold dishes. Their shape is ideal for soups, stews, and finger foods. But they have also proven themselves in snack bars or food trucks. They are lightweight, have a pleasant firmness, and are therefore easy to handle and use for transport and storage.
